Due to the size of our treated water capacity and the age of the water in our storage tanks, our levels of disenfectant by products (DBP's) exceed the recommended levels set by the CDPHE. We are working with the CDPHE and Merrick Engineering to solve this issue.
The boil water advisory due to a widespread pressure loss has been rescinded. Please see the attached document below.
The district is working on making long term improvements to distribution piping, but it will take time to get full funding and to complete necessary work. As a result, low pressure will be an issue at times in localized areas of our system. We apologize for the inconvenience and to contact Pinewood's office to report an issue.
